    Constructed as a F-86D-40-NA by North American at Inglewood, California, USA.

    Circa 1952

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 52-3730.

    Circa 1954

    To 325th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, Hamilton Air Force Base, CA.

    From September 1954 to August 1955

    This was one of the F-86 Sabres that flew with the Sabre Knights Demonstration Team, founded by the 325th FIS at Hamilton AFB, CA. Made up of pilots from the 84th and 325th Fighter-Interceptor Squadrons, the Sabre Knights were the official aerial demo team of the Air Defense Command. Comprised of active 325th FIS alert-standby pilots, the team was Lt. Col. Vince Gordon, Capt. Dick Hellwege, Capt. Bruce Jones, and 1st Lt. Jim Low. All were Korean War combat veterans. Flying the North American F-86D Sabre Dog, the team gave more than 200 national performances from September 1954 to August 1955 when the 325th transferred to Truax Field in Wisconsin.

    Transferred to 120th FIS, 140th FIS, Colorado ANG, Buckley Field, CO.

    1960

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC).

    Scrapped.
