    7 February 1984

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Stratford, TX, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. The pilot stated after the accident that the engine failure occurred as the aircraft climbed through 6500 feet. According to the pilot the #1 cylinder separated from the radial engine. The aircraft nosed over during the landing on unimproved terrain.

    28 May 1988

    Crashed.
    There were two fatalities. The accident occurred at the Two Bar Ranch Airport Wheatland, WY, United States while going around. The airframe was destroyed. The witnesses said they saw the aircraft fly a pattern indicative of a base to final approach to runway 35. The airstrip has a second runway oriented east and west. The wind was blowing from the east at 20 knots. The aircraft wreckage was found approximately 3/4 miles west (downwind) of runway 35...
