    Raced as #2, named Swea Pea II.
    Competed at the Miami All American Air Maneuvers in the Goodyear Trophy race. The primary pilot was Art Chester. Raced in the B Feature race. Finished in 3rd place with an average speed of 145.650 mph. Cut the scatterpylon.

    To Air Race Corp, Los Angeles, CA keeping c/r N4000K.

    From 4 September 1948 to 6 September 1948

    Raced as #2, named Swee Pea.
    Competed at the National Air Races Cleveland in the Goodyear Trophy race. The primary pilot was Art Chester. Raced in the B Feature race. Finished in 3rd place with an average speed of 168.201 mph.

    From 7 January 1949 to 9 January 1949

    Raced as #2, named Swee Pea II.
    Competed in the Continental Motors Race - Miami event. The primary pilot was Art Chester. Raced in the One Mile Course race. Finished in 5th place with an average speed of 166.730 mph.

    From 24 April 1949 to 24 April 1949

    Raced as #2, named Swea Pea II.
    Competed at the San Diego California in the Continental Motors race. The primary pilot was Art Chester. Started Heat B, but did not finish. Crashed in the second heaT. Art Chester perished.

    25 May 1949

    Civil registration, N4000K, cancelled.
