    Constructed as a DH-82C by deHavilland Canada at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Air Force with s/n 3873.

    To unknown owner with c/r CF-CKN.

    Recovered.
    Harold Cope comments (March 2015): I located the Airframe hanging in barn west of Winnipeg around 1979.

    Restored.
    Harold Cope comments (March 2015): Trans air Maintenance Dept. overhauled and rebuilt the moth.

    Harold Cope comments (March 2015): When I left TransAir around 1990 and offered the Moth to the Winnipeg Air museum. Harold Cope pass president of Transair.

    Notes: This is/was the last aircraft to fly in good old Transair colours. It was restored by Transair Maintenance in 1979. I rode in this aircraft as ballast in the front seat during a taxi and run up test during restoration
