    Notes: From text attached to the back of the photo: CLEVELAND-Bill Falck, shown with his Formul One Racer, *RIVETS* will be competing for a share of $35,000 in prize money at the Cleveland National Air Races, the Labor Day weekend Air Show that comes to Cleveland Lakefront Airport. Falk, one of the nations top tiplots, scored wins in the Formula One Class at the Los Angeles and Washington Air Races in 1966 and the Texas National Air Races in 1967. He is a veteran pilot from Warwick, New York who raced in Cleveland in 1946, 1948 and 1949. He operates an airport in Warwick. He holds the reocrd for fastest qualifying lap - 217.77 MPH achieved at Tampa in 1966. Timothy Weinschenker comments (24 April 2022): Reno 1965. Could be a photo by Bob Pauley, Aaron King or Al Chute. I have negatives Bob and Al that indicate they were standing next to each other when they took this photo.

After 1967 Bill would win many races but never again at Reno where he was consistently outclassed by Ray Cote and Shoestring.
