    21 November 1970

    Flew during the Son Tay Raid with the callsign LIME 02. Its role during the raid was rescue force navigation, aerial refueling of the HH-3 Helicopters and to serve as the airborne command.

    From 1973 to 1983

    Transferred to 76th ARRS, Hickam AFB, HI.

    From 1983 to 1986

    Transferred to 41st ARRS, 41st Rescue and Weather Reconnaissance Wing, McClellan AFB, CA.

    From 1986 to March 1988

    Transferred to 55th ARRS, 39th ARRW, Eglin Air Force Base, FL.

    March 1988

    Transferred to 9th SOS, 39th SOW, Eglin Air Force Base, FL.

    After March 1988

    Converted to a MC-130P.

    By February 1996

    Transferred to 9th SOS, 1st SOG, Hurlburt Field, FL.

    By July 2013

    Transferred to Det. 1, 67th SOS, 352nd SOG, RAF Mildenhall, UK.
    Operated with markings: Son Tay Raider

    By 2014

    Transferred to 9th SOS, 1st SOG, Hurlburt Field, FL.
