    Constructed as a Turbo Firecat by Conair.

    From 1 April 1958 to 12 November 1970

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Navy with s/n 1539.

    From October 1973 to 1980

    To Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Sault Ste Marie, ON with new c/r CF-OPU.

    Operated as fire service #54.

    July 1980

    To Conair Aviation Ltd, Abbotsford BC: with new c/r C-FOPU.

    Converted to a Firecat by Conair.
    New construction number, 007, assigned to the airframe.

    To Canadian Museum of Flight Association, Langley, BC with new c/r C-FOPU.

    Placed on display with The Canadian Museum of Flight, Langley, BC.

    Notes: At Langley, BC - Last resting place here at the air museum for one of the large fleet of Conair Firecats. The company has retired all remaining radial engine types from the fleet.

    Notes: This de Havilland built Tracker converted to Firecat has been retired now at least 6 years and is slowly going downhill. And to add insult to injury it was pulled over to the other side of the airport from its original position in front of the museum.
