    Raced as #3, named Dolly.
    Competed at the Homestead Florida in the Unlimited class. The primary pilot was Bill Clark from College Park, CA. Qualified in 25th place with an average speed of 255.837 mph. Raced in the Stock Plane Friday race. Finished in 7th place with an average speed of 230.642 mph. Raced in the Stock Plane Saturday race. Finished in 4th place with an average speed of 263.543 mph. Raced in the Stock Plane Final race. Finished in 2nd place with an average speed of 287.179 mph. In the stock plane race actually finished in sixth place but was dropped to seventh because of cuts on plyons #5 and #6 on lap #6.

    To Clark Motor Co, State College, PA with new c/r N51WE.

    To William Clark, State College, PA keeping c/r N51WE.

    7 March 1988

    Crashed.
    There was one fatality. The accident occurred at State College, PA, United States while climbing. The airframe was destroyed. N51WE, a north american F-51D took off as the second ship of a two ship flight with N6341T, another F-51D. They were observed climbing in formation into the clouds. N6341T assumed communications and said they were a flight of 2 and ok, after atc was unable to contact N51WE. Witnesses were found who saw and heard an aircraft traveling north and experiencing engine trouble...

    The ID was transferred to Indonesian AF s/n F-350. At this point it is assumed the remains of the airframe were absorbed into other restoration projects and this airframe essentially ceased to exist.
