    Constructed as a Bolingbroke IVT by Fairchild Aircraft Ltd. (Canada) at Quebec, Canada.

    From 5 May 1942 to 15 May 1946

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Air Force with s/n 9869.

    Stored at MacDonald, Manitoba, where it was noted with only 35 hours 20 minutes logged time, never overhauled.

    1996

    Trucked ex storage at Gimli, Manitoba for open storage Winnipeg-St Andrews.

    Notes: Well who would look good having spent 50 years in a farmers field? This Bristol Bolingbroke is the RCAF version of the RAF Blenheim light bomber of WW II. After the war many were sold for a few dollars to farmers who wanted them just for the wheels. Somehow this one survived and was still leaking oil from the right engine when seen here
