    Constructed as a Mosquito B.20 by de Havilland Canada at Downsview, Ontario, Canada.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Air Force with s/n KA984.

    29 March 1945

    Transferred to Eastern Air Command, Halifax, NS.

    From 1 May 1946 to 9 August 1946

    Transferred to Saguenay, QC.
    Dispatched to Saguenay, then returned to Halifax.

    8 June 1948

    To War Assets Corporation.
    Total of 92 hours flying time.

    On behalf of the owner stored with/at Eastern Passage Airport, Dartmouth, NS.
    Stored at Eastern Passage pending disposal.

    To Don McVicar.
    Purchase for approximately $1,500 CDN.

    2 July 1948

    Ferry flight.
    Flown from Eastern Passage, NS, to Dorval Airport, Montreal, QC. Ferried with military serials and no civil registrations (accepted at the time). The pilot was Don McVicar.

    To Jessie Stallings with new c/r N66313.
    Sold to Mr. Stallings by Mr. McVicar.

    Ferry flight.
    Flown from Dorval Airport, Montreal, QC to Berry Field, Nashville, TN.

    Raced as #81, named Miss Marta.
    Named for Mr. Stallings daughter, Martha.

    Certificate of airworthiness for N66313 (MOSQUITO, KA-984) issued.

    Flow by Jessie Stallings, finished in 5th place in the 1948 Bendix Air Race claiming a $1,500 prize.

    To Warren Paint and Color Company, Nashville, TN keeping c/r N66313.

    Ferry flight.
    Mr. Stallings delivered the aircraft to Birmingham, Alabama.

    Ownership reverted back to Mr. Stallings, but the airframe remained in Birmingham.

    From 4 September 1948 to 6 September 1948

    Raced as #81, named Miss Marta.
    The race was from Long Beach, CA, to Cleveland. Competed at the National Air Races Cleveland in the Bendix Reciprocating Division race. The primary pilot was Jesse F Stallings. Raced in the B Feature race. Finished in 5th place with an average speed of 341.120 mph. Limped into Cleveland on one engine.

    25 June 1951

    To Mark Hurd Mapping Co, Minneapolis, MN keeping c/r N66313.

    The racing modifications were removed and a glass nose was installed.

    June 1951

    Crashed.
    During a test flight the pilot Mark Hurd ground-looped on takeoff. The right main gear leg was damaged.

    Repaired.
    A new landing gear leg was obtained from Canada.

    Ferry flight.
    Was to be flown from Birmingham, AL, to Goleta, CA. The pilot Marvin Dunlavy was contracted for the flight.

    Crashed.
    During the ferry flight on take off from El Paso, TX, one propeller went into coarse pitch, causing the aircraft to swing, and the remaining original main gear to collapse resulting in the wing contacting the ground. The airframe was severely damaged.

    Abandoned.
    The serviceable parts were removed from the airframe, and what remained of the airframe was left at El Paso.

    17 February 1956

    Civil registration, N66313, cancelled.
