    Transferred to Air Force System Command (AFSC), Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

    By August 1964

    Transferred to 6594th Test Group, Hickam AFB, HI.

    November 1967

    Converted to a C-130A-LM by Lockheed at Marietta, GA.

    By July 1969

    Converted to an AC-130A.

    By July 1969

    Transferred to 16th SOS, 8th TFW, Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand.
    Operated with markings: Gomer Grinder, FT

    By 1971

    Transferred to 415th Special Operations Training Squadron, 1st Special Operation Wing, Hurlburt Field, FL.

    November 1974

    Transferred to 711th SOS, 919 SOG, Duke Field (Eglin Air Force Auxiliary Field No. 3), FL.

    1 June 1976

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number CF015.
    Was one of the first C-130s retired to MASDC / AMARC.
