    Constructed as an Il-2.
    Built in Moscow.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Russia Air Force.

    1943

    Transferred to 7th Guards Assault Aviation Regiment, Red Banner Baltic Fleet.

    28 January 1944

    Crashed.
    Shot down while attacking German troops. Landed on frozen Lake Bebro and later sank when the lake thawed.

    1992

    Recovered.
    Recovered and brought to the United States by Christopher E. Mullin Jr.

    To Pima Air and Space Museum, Davis-Monthan AFB (South Side), Tucson, AZ.
    Only wreckage survives here.
