    To Corpo Forestale dello Stato-CFS with new c/r I-CFSU (Canadair CL-215-1A10, 1074a).
    Operated for SISAM - Societa Italiana Servizi Aerei Mediterranei.

    Operated as fire service #2.

    Crashed.
    Summary: The airframe was written off. There was one fatality. This was a fire fighting flight. The accident occurred at Lago Fanaco (Italy) while maneuvering. Narrative: The CL-215 touched down hard on a lake in an attempt to scoop water to fight a forest fire. The hull ruptured, causing the plane to sink.
