    Call sign for the flight was Turkey. Departed Bangkok, Thailand to Clark AFB, Philippines. Because of the political situation in Cambodia and Vietnam they had to fly far off shore of Cambodia and well to the south of Vietnam to avoid a possible incident or violation. First leg would take 12.8 hours.
