    USAAF s/n assigned for Lend-Lease purpose only.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Australian Air Force with s/n A29-310 as a Kittyhawk III.

    After 4 March 1943

    Transferred to No. 2 Operational Training Unit, Mildura, Australia.

    Circa 1944

    Transferred to No. 78 Squadron RAAF.

    11 January 1945

    Damaged.
    Landing accident, stood on its nose causing minor damage.

    By 1947

    Transferred to Werribee Bombing Range, Australia.
    As a stationary target.

    July 1947

    Damaged.
    Severely damaged during target practice.

    24 February 1948

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Royal Australian Air Force.

    By 2007

    Recovered.
    Wreckage salvaged from the Werribee Bombing Range.

    2015

    Restoration completed.

    Circa 2015

    Markings Applied: OK-D, FR310
    False identity, real FR310 was a P-40K-1-CU 42-45900 delivered to RAF.

    19 June 2015

    To Comanche Fighters Llc, Houston, TX with new c/r N40DF.

    20 February 2016

    Certificate of airworthiness for NX40DF (P40M, 43-5508) issued.
