Summarized NTSB narrative from report number NYC73DNG75: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 05:00 hours. The damage was substantial. This was a local flight from Fort Kent, ME. Experienced a controlled collision with terrain while turning around. The factors included; glassy water and came to rest in water. Report remarks include: Inside aircraft of 3 aircraft wingtip-to-wingtip formation flight. Incident occurred at or near Fort Kent, ME.
