    To British Airways keeping c/r G-ASGM.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n ZD241.
    Put into storage at RAF Abingdon pending modernisation to an air refueling aircraft.

    Circa 1993

    Remanufactured as a VC-10 K.4 by British Aircraft Corporation.
    At British Aerospace, Filton, Bristol.

    10 May 1995

    First flight.
    Post remanufacturing to a VC.10 K4.

    9 June 1995

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n ZD241.

    By 22 July 1995

    Transferred to 101 SQN, RAF Brize Norton.
    Noted at RAF Fairford RIAT.

    By 22 July 1995
