    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy.

    To NAWS China Lake, CA.
    Used as a ground target for weapons testing.

    By 1975

    Assigned to NAS China Lake, CA for storage.

    To National Naval Aviation Museum-Loan Program, NAS Pensacola, Pensacola, FL.

    After 1976

    Markings Applied: 18, Peachy
    Depicted as Bell-Atlanta B-29-25-BA Superfortress 42-63508. With 505th BG, 482nd BS. Combat damage by enemy fighter. The aircraft crashed at Chiba Higashikatsushika gun, Shinkawa Village (now Chiba Nagareyama Shinkawa) Kiriya river. All ll crew killed. The original Peachy was commanded and flown by Pueblo, CO, native Capt. Robert T. Haver. He was not on the original aircraft when it was shot down.
