    Chris Turner comments (23 January 2017): My father, Bill Turner, purchased this plane in December 1949 and sold it in Sept 1951 while stationed in Anchorage with the National Weather Service as a meteorologist. He sold the plane when he was transferred to Nantucket, MA.
