    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 62-4279.

    13 April 1963

    To 8th Tactical Fighter Wing, Itazuke AB, Japan.

    13 May 1964

    Transferred to 41st Air Division, Yokota AB, Japan.

    21 July 1964

    Transferred to 18th TFW, Kadena AB, Okinawa.

    23 January 1968

    Was one of the first F-105s deployed to Osan AB, South Korea, in response to the USS Pueblo incident.

    18 August 1972

    Transferred to 465th TFS, 507th TFG, AFRES, Tinker AFB, OK.
    Operated with markings: SH

    4 April 1975

    To 466th TFS, 508th TFG, AFRES, Hill AFB, UT.
    Markings added: HI

    From 15 August 1981 to 29 August 1981

    Deployed to Skrydstrup, Denmark, during Coronet Rudder.

    4 June 1983

    Last flight.
    One of the 24 F-105s flown on a ceremonial final mission at Hill AFB, UT. After the mission, 62-4279 was one of the seven F-105s flown to Lackland AFB, TX. Retired with 4,031.6 flying hours.

    Redesignated as GF-105D.

    5 June 1983

    To Security Police Training Area (south), Kelly Field (formerly Kelly AFB), San Antonio, TX.
