    Transferred to 4930th Test and Support Group, Eniwetok Atoll.
    Took part in Operation Redwing nuclear tests.

    Transferred to 4925th Test and Evaluation Group, Kirtland AFB, NM.

    21 January 1957

    Transferred to SAAAR (Special Aircraft and Special Aircrew), Kelly AFB, TX.

    10 November 1957

    Transferred to SPWCE (Special Weapon Center), Kirtland AFB, NM.

    30 September 1958

    Transferred to SWCCE (Special Weapon Center), Kirtland AFB, NM.

    1962

    One of the few B-52s to have actually dropped a nuclear weapon when it took part in Operation Dominic in 1962.

    31 December 1970

    Permanently withdrawn from use.
