    Constructed as an A-26C-55-DT by Douglas at Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.

    From October 1945 to 1946

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-35948.
    Although aircraft was delivered, it was not taken on strength, due to the war having ended.

    26 October 1945

    Transferred to Reconstruction Finance Corporation, Kingman, AZ.
    For disposal by War Assets Corporation.

    6 February 1946

    To Charles H. Babb Co, Glendale, CA with new c/r NL67164.
    Purchase of 22 new A-26s from War Assets Corporation at Kingman AZ for $2000 each.

    By April 1946

    Ferry flight.
    To Grand Central Air Terminal, Glendale CA for resale.

    1954

    To Stanolind Oil and Gas Co, Tulsa, OK with new c/r N67164.

    From 1961 to 1964

    To Pan American Petroleum Corp, Tulsa, OK with new c/r N1244.

    On Mark conversion, to include wingtip fuel tanks and spar modifications.

    31 May 1965

    To Standard Oil Co (Indiana), Chicago, IL keeping c/r N1244.

    From 4 August 1965 to 1966

    To Nine Ten Corp, Chicago, IL with new c/r N910H.

    By 6 July 1967

    To unknown owner with c/r N910H.

    Involved in an incident.
    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number FTW68A0001: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 09:01 hours. The damage was substantial. Incident occurred at the Tulsa International Airport, Tulsa, OK. Landed wheels up on touch down. The factors included; landing gear and hydraulic system. A fire broke out after impact. Report remarks include: Internal leak in landing gear position selector valve caused increased landing gear extension time.

    To Conair Aviation Ltd, Abbotsford, BC with new c/r C-GHLX.

    On Mark tip tanks and spar mods removed during conversion to fire tanker.

    Operated as fire service #32.
