    From 17 October 1945 to 1952

    Assigned to NAF Litchfield, AZ for storage.

    Redesignated as P4Y-2.

    Converted to a P4Y-2G.

    1953

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Coast Guard with s/n 66261.

    1953

    Transferred to Coast Guard Air Detachment, Midway Atoll.

    From 1953 to Circa December 1957

    Transferred to Coast Guard Air Detachment, CGAS Barbers Point, HI.

    Circa January 1958

    Transferred to CGAS San Francisco, CA.

    1959

    Placed in open storage at Orange County, CA, still in a USN colour scheme.

    1959

    Transferred to NAF Litchfield, AZ.
    For disposal.

    1959

    To Avery Aviation, Greybull, WY with new c/r N7682C.
    Obtained via USN disposals.

    Operated as fire service #013.

    By 1960

    Not converted to a tanker, but rather stripped for parts at Greybull, WY.

    August 1960

    To Hawkins and Powers, South Bighorn County Airport, Greybull, WY.

    Eventually became derelect with H and P.

    From 1981 to By 1983

    Restored.
    Rebuilt at Greybull in preparation for a ferry flight. Used parts (including cockpit section) from BuNo 66304 c/r N2870G, ID of which was adopted. Also used parts from 59882 and 66313. Finished in a USN color scheme.

    January 1983

    To Hawkins and Powers, Greybull, WY with new c/r N2870G {2}.
    C/r transferred from 66304 for ferry flight.

    January 1983

    Ferry flight. Delivered to National Naval Aviation Museum, NAS Pensacola, Pensacola, FL.
    Moved from Greybull to Pensacola, FL.
