    First flight.
    Flown at Radlett as a Hastings C.1.

    16 June 1948

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n TG511.
    The delivery date is provided.

    16 June 1948

    Transferred to No. 5 Maintenance Unit, RAF Kemble, Glos.

    26 May 1949

    Transferred to No 47 Squadron, Schleswigland.
    On delivery to the unit was carrying coal to Berlin during the Berlin Airlift Co CyOperation Plainfare.

    1959

    Converted to a Hastings T.5.
    Converted to T.5 standard by Airwork at Blackbushe, England.

    17 June 1977

    New serial number assigned: 8554M RAF
    Allotted to the RAF Museum with a new maintenance serial.

    16 August 1977

    Placed on display with Royal Air Force Museum, Cosford, Cosford, Shropshire, England.
    This delivery flight was the last ever Hastings flight, from RAF Scampton to Aerospace Museum Cosford where it has been displayed ever since.
