That aircraft was lost 6/30/42 when it had a mid-air collision with No. 14 Squadron Blenheim Z7485 during a dust storm. The airframe on this dossier was an RCAF bird. |

Involved in an incident.
The incident occurred at the Lincoln Municipal Airport (LNK) Lincoln, NE, United States while landing. The damage was minor. Upon touchdown, the World War II era tailwheel-equipped airplane experienced an uncontrollable swerve as the right main landing gear began to collapse. As the right main gear exited the edge of the runway, the airplane rocked forward onto its nose and the propeller and left wing tip impacted the ground...
