Editors note: Apparently after the paper assignment for transfer to RCAF, c/n AK753 was reassigned to a Kittyhawk assigned to No.2 Squadron of the South African Air Force in Egypt. That aircraft was lost 6/30/42 when it had a mid-air collision with No. 14 Squadron Blenheim Z7485 during a dust storm. The airframe on this dossier was an RCAF bird. |
