    Civil registration, N440DW, cancelled.
    Exported to Mexico.

    To Interestatal with new c/r XA-MUX.

    To Correos de Mexico with new c/r XA-NAU {1} (Convair CV-440-38, 411).

    November 1989

    Destroyed in a crash.
    Summary: The airframe was written off. The accident occurred at near Toluca (Mexico) while en route. Narrative: The CV-440 suffered an engine failure and crash-landed in a field. The airplane was deliberately set on fire and burnt out.
