    View aircaft of every generation of flight from a Silver Dart to a F-18. This is Canada's national aviation museum and is a must-visit when in Ottawa.
    Canadian Air, Land and Sea Museum
    Markham, Ontario, Canada

    A small museum at the Markham airport with a number of former Canadian Forces aircraft displayed outside. I have never been to this museum when it has been open, but most of the aircraft are easily viewed without any special access.
    Canadian War Museum
    Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

    Aircraft are only a small part of the collection and displays illustrating Canada's war and peace keeping history.
    Canadian Warplane Heritage
    Mount Hope (Hamilton), Ontario, Canada

    This is a museum which flies the aircraft in it's collection. They also operate one of only two Avro Lancasters in flying condition in the world.

    Near the center of town at the public library is a Harvard Mk II which is pole mounted.

    Flying Heritage Collection
    Arlington, Washington, USA

    These photos were taken at the Flying Heritage Collection when the museum was located at the Arlington Airport. Since the photos were take the colleciton has moved to near-by Paine Field. The photos are a mix of scans from negatives and my first attempt at digital photography.
    Flying Tigers Warbird Restoration Museum
    Kissimmee, Florida, USA

    This was a museum that specialized in the restoration of aircraft. Unfortunately the museum closed in September 2004. This album contains photos of aircraft of the museum, visiting aircraft and neighboring aircraft from organizations like Warbird Adventures.

    This is a first class aviation museum. The "Air Zoo" is known for their collection of naval fighters.

    This is another museum which is a must visit if you happen to be in the Dayton area. If you are a serious enthusiast I recommend you set aside two days to take everything in. Don't forget to ask about the tour of their restoration facility.

    The Planes of Fame Air Museum
    Chino, California, U.S.A.

    This is one of the most famous museums in the world. The Planes of Fame is known for the preservation, restoration and operation of warbirds.

    This former air force base once was home to aircraft like the B-47 and B-52. To remember the base's place in history a B-47 and F-111 are displayed outside.

    RCAF Memorial Museum
    Trenton, Ontario, Canada

    This museum displays a number of former RCAF aircraft outside, and a Handley Page Halifax inside. In addition they have an active restoration facility.

    The site of this museum is the former Canadian Forces Base at Downsview. It is also where deHavilland Canada built many aircraft including Grumman Trackers.
