Photos of roadside warbirds and museum collections are most welcome. Photos of aircraft as they are currently displayed are great, but photos of airframes in previous markings, with past owners or during a restoration are fantastic as well. You can help document the history of airframes with photos!

Notes: Heres the grandaddy of them all - the very first Waco aircraft, as represented by this beautiful working replica

Airframe: Piper PA-31P-350 Mojave, c/n 31P8414002, c/r N9198Y
Notes: In this corner at Lock Haven Airport were three non-airworthy Piper twins. I believe they are donating parts to a Navajo or Cheyenne being restored in the hangar.

Airframe: Piper PA-31T3, c/n 31T-1, c/r N7500L
Notes: This bird has been grounded - literally. Located behind the Piper hangar at Lock Haven, this ship is either awaiting restoration or is a parts ship, probably the former as it was the first production model of the type

Airframe: Piper PA-23-250 Aztec, c/n 27-4788, c/r N14230
Notes: It always worth ones while to take an amble behind the hangar, especially with a camera. This aircraft may look like a lost cause, but my guess is that the museum will restore this bird to her former glory. The William T. Piper Museum is small, but well worth a visit

Airframe: Piper PA-41P Pressurized Aztec, c/n 41P-1, c/r N9941P
Notes: While I have seen many Piper Aztecs, the Pressurized Aztec was new to me. The rounded windows give the aircraft an entirely different look. This was the first production model of the type

Airframe: Piper PA-38-112 Tomahawk, c/n 38-79A0328, c/r N2476D
Notes: Even as a museum piece, this airplaine is still fulfilling her role as a trainer, albeit for young patrons (and not so young ones like myself) at the Piper Aviation Museum.

Airframe: Piper PA-29 Papoose, c/n 29-01, c/r N2900M
Notes: Nowadays, with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, we take it for granted that aircraft can be built of composite structure. However, half a century earlier, the Papoose was Pipers experiment in this technique.
