This beautiful Waco GXE resides at the Eagles Mere Air Museum, Merritt Field, Laporte, PA. She was built in Troy, OH, in 1928.

Notes: Travel-Air 10-D (N418N) -
This aircraft was built in Wichita, Kansas, in 1929 and first flew in 1930. Travel-Air built 11 of these beautiful little cabin monoplanes before going out of business; this aircraft is the sole survivor. It flew until 1955, when it was taken out of service to be rebuilt. It remained in a California hangar as an unfinished project until the Eagles Mere Air Museum bought the aircraft 2004. They rebuilt the aircraft in Florida and flew her to Pennsylvania

Roscoe Turner bought this amazing machine in 1928 and performed many aerobatic feats. This aircraft was able to do the most violent maneuver, the only limitation being the power of its OX-5 engine. According to the museum, this 1928 example is the only one known to exist

This lovely Air Camper is seen at her new home, the Eagles Mere Air Museum. This is one of the oldest home built designs, and plans are still for sale. This example, with a Ford engine, was built in 1995.
