Raced as #40, named Miss USA. Report from the team by Thom Richard: I ve been on my head in the hangar trying to get Miss USA ready for the trip west. Weve been pulling 16-18 hour shifts to make it happen. We will retain the name, number and paint job - its too classic to change. Since the airplane was not built for someone with a head as large as mine, the most obvious mod is the new larger canopy, along with a laundry list of smaller upgrades, including a new instrument panel.
