    Restoration started.

From NMUSAF: Our restoration specialists located a data plate in the aircraft cockpit, which conclusively identifies the aircraft as BuNo 134600. Previously, we had located panels with Vietnamese writing, repaired combat damage, and replacement components of Soviet manufacture all suggesting the aircraft served in combat in Southeast Asia, and likely continued to fly in the years following. In addition, scrap news print and other natural materials were located in an animal nest in the aircraft interior. This news print contained clear dates which suggest the aircraft remained in Vietnam until at least 1992.
