    Deployed for combat over Vietnam.

    13 February 1970

    Transferred to Attack Squadron 195 (VA-195), NAS Lemoore, CA.

    1 June 1970

    Transferred to Attack Squadron 164 (VA-164), NAS Lemoore, CA.

    30 July 1970

    Transferred to Marine Training Squadron 103 (VMT-103), MCAS Yuma, AZ.

    1 September 1971

    Converted to a TA-4J.

    1 June 1972

    Transferred to Marine Attack Training Squadron 102 (VMAT-102), MCAS Yuma, AZ.

    13 December 1975

    Transferred to Fighter Squadron 126 (VF-126), NAS Miramar, CA.
    Aggressor Squadron.

    From 1 August 1977 to 4 December 1985

    Several deployments for training to NAS Pensacola, and one to NAS Cubi Point, all with return to Miramar between deployments.

    From 18 September 1989 to October 1998

    Transferred to Training Squadron 7 (VT-7), Meridian Naval Air Station, MS.
    Operated with markings: A-725
