Some sources indicate this airframe was built in 1948. This is impossible since the C-119F was purchased with fiscal year 1951 funds and the first C-119F did not fly until 1952. |

This serial was likely only assigned for the purpose of transferring the airframe to the RCAF. It is thought this airframe had no service in the USAF. |
