    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-76384.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n KN353 as a Dakota IV.

    February 1945

    Transferred to RAF, Dorval, Montreal.

    February 1945

    Transferred to 243 SQDN (RAF), Camden, Australia.

    From 26 December 1945 to 30 December 1945

    Flew special trip to Hong Kong.

    From 31 December 1945 to 2 January 1946

    Returned to Camden from Hong Kong. Pilot F/O Bailey, co-pilot W/O S.G.Head, total flying time 57h 55m of which 3h night flying.

    4 February 1946

    Transferred to 389 MU, Singapore.

    1953

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Royal Air Force.

    To Transair, Croydon Airport with new c/r G-AMYJ.

    Restored.
    Refurbished for civilian use.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n XF747 as a Dakota IV.
    Leased back to the RAF. Used for training flights in the Middle East.

    8 May 1959

    Operated by Jersey Airlines, Middle East.
    Jersey Airlines formed part of British United (Cl) Airways on 1 August 1963.

    Operated by Morton Air Services.
    Morton was also part of BU(Cl) Airways.

    1 November 1968

    Returned to BU colours, this time as British United Airways.

    6 May 1969

    To South West Aviation, Exeter with new c/r G-AMYJ.

    14 September 1972

    To Intra Airways Jersey keeping c/r G-AMYJ.

    To Nile Delta Airways with new c/r SU-AZF.
    Leased to Nile Delta from Intra Airways Jersey.

    Used to spray oil slicks around the coast of the UK.
