    Notes: At Stockton/CA in September 1994 - built in 1953 for the USAF and used as an aerial tanker -later sold and used for a while to haul fish in Alaska - stored and wfu at Stockton Metropolitan Airport, where the aircraft finally was scrapped around 2001.

    Certificate of airworthiness for NR971HP (KC-97G, 53-317) issued.

    May 2001

    Broken-up for scrap at Stockton, CA. It was cut up to salvage the wings, tail, engines which were sold to Planes of Fame. The cockpit forward fuselage was keep by Scroggins Aviation and used as a work office in Mojave Airport, CA (USA) where the company dismantled airliners there.
