    Constructed as a Stranraer by Canadian Vickers at Saint Hubert, Montreal, QC.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Air Force with s/n 920.
    An RCAF pilot collected the airframe from Vickers.

    Moved to Dartmouth, NC.

    22 December 1940

    Transferred to No 5 (Bomber Reconnaissance) Squadron, Dartmouth, NS.
    Operated with markings: QN

    11 January 1941

    First flight.
    Acceptance flight after assembly.

    10 October 1941

    To No 13 Operational Training Squadron (TS), Patricia Bay, British Colombia.

    From 23 January 1942 to 13 June 1942

    Transferred to Boeing Aircraft, Vancouver.
    Sent for overhaul.

    13 June 1942

    Transferred to Western Air Command.

    Transferred to No 7 Bomber Reconnaissance, Prince Rupert, BC.

    From Unknown to April 1944

    Transferred to No 9 Bomber Reconnaissance, Bella Bella, BC.

    Transferred to No 3 Operational Training Unit, Patricia Bay, BC.

    From Unknown to April 1944

    Damaged.
    Damaged and evaluated as Cat B.

    From 16 September 1943 to 1 February 1944

    Transferred to Canadian Pacific Airlines, Vancouver.
    Sent for repairs.

    To Western Air Command.
    Returned to Western Air Command.

    12 April 1944

    To No 3 Repair Depot.
    Placed in storage.

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Royal Canadian Air Force.

    10 May 1944

    To Labrador Mining and Exploration Co Ltd with new c/r CF-BXO.
    This airframe was used as the prototype for the civil conversion.

    Operated by Canadian Pacific Airlines.
    Contracted to Hollinger Inc.

    To Siple Air Transport/W. C. Siple, Montreal, QC keeping c/r CF-BXO.

    To Labrador Mining and Exploration Co Ltd.

    25 September 1945

    Involved in an incident.
    Engine failed reuslting in a forced landing on Ashuanipi Lake, Labrador. Once on the lake winds blew the aircraft into the rocks damaging the hull. Strong winds blew the Stranraer onto the rocky shore and holed the hull. The aircraft was beached.

    Repaired.
    Repairs completed and flown off the lake.

    To Queen Charlotte Airlines Ltd, Fraser River, Sea Island Airport.

    30 April 1949

    Involved in an incident.
    Struck a submerged log on take off from the Fraser River at Sea Island.

    March 1950

    Converted to a Super Stranraer.
    Wright GR1820-205A engines installed.

    5 March 1951

    Involved in an incident.
    Forced landing at Alert Bay.

    21 February 1952

    Damaged when attempting to land at Sullivan Bay. The wing tip float was lost and the pilot got airborne again and with the ailerons inoperative landed at Comox on Vancouver Island.

    23 February 1952

    Withdrawn from use.

    Placed in open storage at Vancouver.

    To Stranraer Aerial Enterprises Ltd, Richmond, Vancouver.

    Circa November 1961

    Transported by ground. Delivered to Aerovive Ltd/Bert Green.
    Moved to Aerovive fore a rebuild.

    While taxying on Seers Lake hit a rock and damaged the hull sinking in shallow water. Beached.

    Loaded into two Short Belfast aircraft for transport to the UK.
