    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army with s/n 62-3864.

    1964

    Transferred to U. S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, Fort Rucker, AL.

    From September 1964 to October 1964

    Under Product Improvement tests with Beech, this aircraft tested anti-icing and deicing equipment which would be retrofitted to other U-8F aircraft.

    Transferred to U. S. Army Reserve.
