    Crashed due to mechanical failure 3 miles NE of Perrin AFB, pilot Charles C. Vesiliaddis.

    Loaned to U. S. Army, Fort Rucker, AL.
    Evaluated as a possible observation and artillery direction platform.

    Returned from loan to 3305th Pilot Training Group, Malden AFB, MO.
