    Constructed as a D.XII.

    The Museums Pfalz was one of a large group of German aircraft brought to the United States for evaluation after the war.

    Along with another Pfalz, this airframe was acquired by the motion picutre industry.

    1930

    Used in the filming of the movie The Dawn Patrol.

    To Colonel G. B. Jarrett.
    Mr. Jarrett acquired the airframe from his new museum in New Jersey.

    1950

    To Frank Tallman.

    Restored.
    Returned to flying condition.

    19 January 1965

    Certificate of airworthiness for NX43C (D-12, 1) issued.

    To Wings and Wheels Museum, Moncks Corner, SC.

    To Wings and Wheels Museum, Orlando, FL with new c/r N43C.

    1981

    To Champlin Fighter Museum, Falcon Field, Phoenix, AZ keeping c/r .
    Mr. Champlin acquired the airframe with its Mercedes D IIIa, 160-horsepower in-line engine and two 7.92mm Spandau machine guns.
