    Transferred to 1380th Base Unit, Presque Isle AAFld, ME.

    31 October 1944

    Transferred to Northern Atlantic Division, Air Transportation Command.

    11 January 1945

    Returned to US from service with the Northern Atlantic Division.

    10 February 1945

    Transferred to 3704th Base Unit, Keesler AAFld, MS.

    14 November 1945

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Army Air Force.

    To Reconstruction Finance Corp, Biloxi, MS.

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Neilsville, WI, United States while cruising. The damage was substantial. The aircraft was crash landed in an open field after it had a power loss on #1 engine during cruise flight. The aircraft was on a geodetic survey flight which called for flight at 500 feet above ground level. The pilot elected to land because the aircraft could not maintain level flight on one engine. The aircraft was 4000 lbs. Under maximum gross weight...

    Remanufactured as an OA-10-CO.
    After crash, this Catalina was rebuilt to OA-10 specs.

    Notes: Former BuNo 33993, USAAF 43-43847 and N4760C, converted to Stewart-Davis 28-5ACF EMQ Super Catalina for Alaska Coastal Airlines in the late 1950s. Acquired by the McChord Air Museum in 1987 and restoration to original OA-10 Catalina configuration started. Finally placed on display with fake serial 434033 in 2012.
