    Built on order for Charles Lindburgh.

    To Phillips and Powis Aircraft Ltd, Woodley with new c/r G-AEKW.

    First flight.

    Circa 18 November 1936

    To Charles Lindbergh.

    1 February 1937

    Official hand-over to Lindbergh.

    28 February 1939

    Flew for the last time before the war.

    11 September 1939

    Stored dismantled with Phillips and Powis Aircraft Ltd at Woodley on behalf of Lindburgh.

    Circa 1940

    To British Government.
    Donated to the government by Lindbergh.

    29 October 1941

    Removed from storage.

    29 October 1941

    Test flown.

    29 October 1941

    Resprayed in RAF camouflage.

    8 November 1941

    Civil registration, G-AEKW, cancelled.

    8 November 1941

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n HM503.
    Tos.

    25 November 1941

    Ferry flight.
    Flown to RAF Turnhouse, Edinburgh.

    From 21 May 1943 to 3 July 1943

    Transferred to Miles/Phillips and Powis, Woodley.
    Returned to miles for the installatio of a new propeller to resolve overheating problems.

    14 September 1943

    Transferred to Maintenance Command Communications Squadron, RAF Andover, Hants.

    1 February 1944

    Assigned to No 5 MU for storage.

    April 1946

    To Southern Aircraft (Gatwick) Ltd.

    Restored.
    Restored.

    27 May 1946

    To Southern Aircraft with new c/r G-AEKW.

    February 1947

    A Menasco engine was installed.

    20 February 1947

    Test flight.

    27 May 1948

    To Bruno Peter Pini, London keeping c/r G-AEKW.

    24 October 1949

    Crashed.
    Crashed at Adra in Spain when it hit an obstacle on take-off.

    1 January 1950

    Civil registration, G-AEKW, cancelled.

    February 1950

    To Granada Aero Club, Spain.

    December 1973

    The remains were spotted in a scrapyard near Tablada Air Force Base, Seville.

    November 1975

    To Louis Casey, Charlottesville, VA.

    November 1975

    Transported by ship.
    Moved to the United States.

    July 2000

    To RAF Museum.
    Mr. Casey donated the airframe to the RAF Museum.

    From July 2000 to 16 October 2000

    Transported by ship.
    Moved to the UK arriving at the Felixstowe Docks, Suffolk.

    19 October 2000

    To RAF Museum Reserve Collection, RAF Wyton, Cambs.
    Moved from Felixstowe to Wyton.

    30 March 2001

    Contracted to Skysport Engineering, Hatch, Beds for work on the airframe.
    Sent to Skysport for restoration.

    3 May 2002

    To RAF Museum Michael Beetham Conservation Centre, RAF Cosford.
    Restoration continued at Cosford.

    26 September 2004

    Contracted to Skysport Engineering, Hatch, Beds for work on the airframe.
    Returned to Skysport for restoration of outer wing panels and recovering of the ailerons.

    16 February 2006

    To RAF Museum Michael Beetham Conservation Centre, RAF Cosford.
    Restoration continued at Cosford.

    18 August 2008

    To RAF Museum, Grahame Park Way, Hendon, London, England.
