    From 24 June 1945 to 30 June 1945

    Constructed as a Ki-100-1b by Kawasaki at Kagamigahara, Japan.

    From Circa 1 July 1945 to 14 July 1945

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Imperial Japanese Army with s/n 16336.

    July 1945

    Transferred to Kagamigahara Army Depot.
    The first assignment for this airframe was the Kagamigahara Army Depot.

    By 2 September 1945

    Ferry flight.
    Flown from Japan to Tan Son Nhut (Saigon) Airfield.

    Found in serviceable condition at Tan Son Nhut.

    1945

    Transferred to Allied Technical Air Intelligence Unit, Saigon.

    November 1945

    The engine was stripped and made serviceable to allow test flying.

    Was test flown by Japanese pilot at Tan Son Nhut.

    26 November 1945

    Crashed.
    An attempt to ferry the aicraft to Bien Hoa Airfield failed when the gear did not lower, thus returning to Tan Son Nhut where it made a wheels-up landing. The oil cooler, propellar and tailwheel were damaged.

    December 1945

    Repaired.
    Repaired for ground operations using parts from other aircraft on the field. The propeller came from a Ki-46. The oil cooler and fairing came from a Ki-84. The wing pylons and tailwheel assembly came from a Ki-61.

    December 1945

    The airframe may have been moved to Tebrau, Johore State, Malaya to be used for demonstration purposes.

    25 March 1946

    Transferred to Ministry of Aircraft Production Air Intelligence, UK.
    At Tebrau selected for shipment for evaluation in the UK.

    April 1946

    Crated for shipping to the UK.

    From May 1946 to 23 August 1946

    Transported by ship.
    Move from Singapore to Portsmouth.

    Assigned to No 47 MU, Sealand for storage.
    Sent to Sealand for storage still crated.

    By 1947

    Assigned to RAF Liverpool for storage.
    Stored crated at Liverpool.

    February 1948

    Assigned to German Air Force Equipment Centre, RAF Stanmore Park, Middx for storage.
    Stored crated at Stanmore Park.

    By 1954

    To Aircraft Historical Branch, German Air Force Equipment Centre, RAF Stanmore Park, Middx.
    Included in the AHB inventory.

    From Circa August 1955 to December 1955

    Assigned to Aircraft Historical Branch, No 15 MU, RAF Wroughton, Wilts for storage.
    Stored crated at Wroughton.

    From Circa April 1958 to August 1958

    To Aircraft Historical Branch, RAF Fulbeck, Lincs.

    Restored.
    Restored to display condition at Fullbeck.

    May 1960

    Restored.
    At Aircraft Historical Branch, RAF Colerne, Wilts.

    August 1960

    To Aircraft Historical Branch, RAF Biggin Hill, Kent.
    Displayed at Biggin Hill.

    From By March 1961 to By 1964

    To Aircraft Historical Branch, RAF Cosford, Salop.

    1963

    Repainted as Cosford.

    Markings Applied: 24
    Marking added to the landing gear legs.

    To Aircraft Historical Branch, RAF Ternhill.

    By 1968

    To Aircraft Historical Branch, RAF Gaydon.
