    Constructed as a D.VII by Ostdeutsche Albatros Werke Gmbh at Schneidemuhl, Pomerania.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Luftwaffe with s/n 8417/18.

    November 1918

    Abandoned at Ostend, Belgium, when the German forces retreated.

    1931

    This airframe is possibly a composite of three airframes registered OO-AMH, OO-AMI and OO-AMY.

    1937

    Another possibility for the airframe identity is OO-UPP which was discovered near Versailles by Richard G.J.Nash.

    To Nash Collection.

    June 1939

    Loaned to Science Museum, South Kensington, London, London, England.
    Temporarily displayed with the Science Museum.

    Restoration started at Brooklands.

    April 1950

    To No 39 Maintenance Unit, RAF Colerne, Wilts.
    Restoration started at Colerne.

    December 1953

    To Royal Aeronautical Society.
    Purchased by the RAS.

    From Circa 15 July 1956 to 31 July 1956

    Transported by ground. Delivered to No 15 Maintenance Unit, RAF Wroughton, Wilts.
    Moved from Weybridge to Wroughton for restoration.

    August 1957

    Transported by ground. Delivered to RAF Hendon.
    Moved from Wroughton to Hendon.

    From 1958 to 1959

    Stored at Hendon with the instrument panel restored off-site.

    1962

    Transported by ground. Delivered to RAF Upavon.
    Moved from Hendon to Upavon for further restoration.

    August 1963

    Transported by ground. Delivered to RAF Museum Storage, RAF Henlow.
    Moved from Upavon to Henlow for storage.

    Loaned to RAF Museum.
    Permanently loaned to the RAF Museum by the RAS.

    By January 1964

    Restoration started at Henlow.

    1974

    To RAF Museum Reserve Collection and Restoration Centre, RAF Cardington, Beds.
    Moved to storage at the RAF Museum Reserve Collection and Restoration Centre at RAF Cardington, Beds.

    18 December 1979

    To RAF Museum, Hendon.
    Placed on display at Hendon.

    March 1992

    To Ministry of Defense.
    Formally purchased by the MOD on behalf of the RAF Museum from the RAS.

    Transported by ground.
    Tran grnd - Moved from Hendon to Cardington.

    January 1993

    To RAF Museum Reserve Collection and Restoration Centre, RAF Cardington, Beds.
    Restoration started.

    19 July 1993

    New serial number assigned: 9207M RAF

    9 September 1997

    Transported by ground. Delivered to RAF Museum, Grahame Park Way, Hendon, London, England.
    Moved from Cardington to Hendon for display.
