    Converted to a F-13.

    21 February 1947

    Crashed.
    Force landed on a lake in NW Greenland.

    17 April 1947

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Army Air Force.

    July 1994

    Recovery attempt started.

    8 August 1994

    To Kee Bird Limited Liability Company, Ocala, FL with new c/r N70887.

    21 May 1995

    Caught fire in taxi test during recovery attempt. Subsequently abandoned.

    19 July 2013

    Civil registration, N70887, cancelled.

    Written off.
