    Constructed as a DH-9A.

    From Circa September 1918 to December 1918

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n F1010.

    15 September 1918

    First mission, a bomb drop on the German aerodrome at Buhl.

    25 September 1918

    Mission to attack Frankfurt.

    1 October 1918

    Mission to Cologne.

    5 October 1918

    Mission to Kaiserslautern, with the aircraft being posted missing. The aircraft landed intact for no known reason. The crew were taken prisoner. The airframe may have been repaired and flown by the Germans.

    After 11 November 1918

    Placed in storage in Germany.

    19 June 1936

    To Deutsche Luftfahrt Sammlung (Berlin Air Museum).
    Placed on display.

    April 1943

    Placed in storage at a forest storage site near Czarnikau, Eastern Germany which is now Poland.

    From 23 November 1943 to 24 November 1943

    The museum was heavily damaged by fire in an RAF night bombing raid.

    March 1945

    Area captured by Polish forces, including the aircraft collection along with this airframe.

    From Circa March 1945 to 1949

    To Regional Aircraft Repository, Gadki.

    From 1950 to 1954

    Stored in or near abandoned railway sheds near Deblin/Pilawa.

    Displayed in an exhibition shed at Wroclaw.

    1963

    To Muzeum Lotnictwa Astranautyki, Rakowice, Krakow.
    The museum was founded and the airframe moved here.

    Restored.
    This work included some restoration of the undercarriage.

    Placed in storage.

    October 1967

    Noted by an Australian enthusiast in storage at Krakow.

    May 1968

    Negotiations for the RAF Museum to acquire the airframe began.

    1977

    Negotiations concluded.

    15 June 1977

    Transported by ground.
    Moved from Krakow.

    28 June 1977

    Transported by ground. Delivered to RAF Museum Restoration Centre, RAF Cardington.
    Delivered to Cardington.

    From Circa September 1978 to December 1978

    Restoration started.
    Rest start.

    March 1983

    Restoration completed.

    By July 1983

    Transported by ground. Delivered to RAF Museum, Grahame Park Way, Hendon, London, England.
    Moved from Carington to Hendon.
