    Constructed as a KC-97G by Boeing at Seattle, Washington, USA.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 53-0354.

    Transferred to 9th BW Mountain Home AFB, ID.

    In that same year she was deployed twice once to Elmemdorf AFB, AK and then in 1957 she was deployed to Hickam AFB, HI before returning to Mountain Home.

    Transferred to 134th ARG in Knoxville, TN.

    11 June 1965

    To Hayes Aircaft Co, Birmingham, AL.
    On she is sent to the to be modeled to an L model.

    Converted to a KC-97L.

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.

    Ferry flight.
    Roy Simmons comments (20 May 2019): With the Help from Castle AFB personnel and Museum personnel she was flown back to Castle by Brigadier General Jack Brasher, him and his crew experienced no difficulty during the 3hr and 40 min flight.
