    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n PL979.

    To Forsvaret Flysamling Museum (Norwegian Armed Forces Aircraft Collection), Gardemoen Airport, Oslo, Oslo.

    Notes: 2011 photo at Forsvaret Flysamling Museum (Norwegian Armed Forces Aircraft Collection), Kjeller Airport, Oslo - Delivered to the RAF on 17th October 1944, initially into storage. It then served with 1 PRU and 4 Sqn. from airfields in France, Belgium and Holland. It was sold to the RNoAH in July 1947 and served with 331Skv and 1 PRU. This aircraft had the honour of operating RNoAFs last Spitfire flight on 25 March 1954. The pilot on that Day - 2nd Lt Amund Klepp subsequently bought the aircraft for 1 krone.
