    Constructed as a TS-2 by Curtiss.
    One of only two TS-2. Designed by the Bureau of Aeronautics/Naval Aircraft Factory as a development of the NAF TS-1. Built with an Aeromarine U-8-D engine. Intended for a modification into a TS-3; engine change to Wright E-2. Conversion not completed but aircraft sometimes referred to as TS.2/3

    1922

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo A-6446.

    Transferred to U. S. Naval Reserve.

    29 March 1926

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Navy.

    1927

    To Aerodynamics Laboratory, Stanford University, Stanford, CA.

    1948

    To Smithsonian, National Air Museum, Wasshington, DC.

    1975

    To National Naval Aviation Museum, NAS Pensacola, Pensacola, FL.

    Markings Applied: l-F-13
    Aircraft was restored and modified to TS-1 configuration to represent that historic version.

    1 July 1976

    Based at Smithsonian-National Air and Space Museum, Washington, DC.
    Museum name changed but aircraft remained with Naval Aviation Museum.
