    Constructed as a Bolingbroke IVT by Fairchild Aircraft Ltd. (Canada) at Quebec, Canada with s/n 10001 RCAF.

    November 1942

    Transferred to No. 2 Training Command (TC).
    Taken on strength by No. 2.

    From 18 April 1944 to 7 June 1944

    Transferred to No. 2 TC.
    Placed in stored reserve.

    7 June 1944

    Noted on the RCAF record card that it was still with No 2 TC on this date.

    1 December 1944

    Transferred to No. 2 Air Command.

    2 February 1945

    Assigned to No. 2 Air Command for storage.
    Placed in stored reserve.

    Transferred to No. 3 Reserve Equipment Maintenance Unit, MacDonald, MB.

    12 October 1945

    Assigned to No. 2 Air Command for storage.
    With No 2 but available for disposal. The record indicates the time on the airframe since newly built is 905.10 hours.

    Assigned to MC MacDonald for storage.
    With MacDonald for for disposal.

    15 May 1946

    Transferred to War Assets.

    15 May 1946

    Struck off Strength/Charge.

    To War Assets Corporation.
    Sent to War Assets for disposal.

    To C. A. Yuill, Poratage La Prairie, MB.
    Moved to Mr. Yuills farm and stored there for about 20 years.

    25 April 1966

    To RAF Museum.
    Purchased by the RAF Museum.

    14 June 1966

    Transported by ground.
    Transported to RCAF Portage La Prairie for shipping to the UK.

    9 August 1966

    Crated for shipping to Portsmouth.

    Circa 1968

    Transported by ship.
    Arrived in the U.K.

    1969

    To RAF Museum, Henlow.
    Placed in storage at Henlow.

    25 February 1972

    Contracted to AEAEE Boscombe Down for work on the airframe.
    Transferred to Boscombe Down for restoration as a recreational activity.

    5 November 1973

    The wings and engines were moved to Boscombe Down.

    Circa July 1978

    Restoration completed.

    Markings Applied: L8756, XD E

    17 July 1978

    To RAF Museum, Grahame Park Way, Hendon, London, England.
    Moved from RAF Abingdon to the Battle of Britain Museum at RAF Museum at Hendon.
