    Constructed as an AH-1G-BF by Bell at Fort Worth, Texas, USA.

    April 1970

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army with s/n 69-16434.

    By July 1970

    To A Troop, 7th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, South Vietnam.
    Markings added: 96 Tears

    10 September 1970

    Damaged.
    During a Close Air Support mission over South Vietnam, AH-1G 69-16434 was attacking at 1250 feet and 110 knots when it took 1 hit from an enemy 7.62mm weapon. The helicopter was hit in the Top. The helicopter continued flight and accomplished all mission objectives.

    To Army Aeronautical Depot Maintenance Center (ARADMAC), NAS Corpus Christi, TX.

    February 1972

    To U. S. Army Aviation Systems Command (AVSCOM) Flight Detachment, Saint Louis, MO.

    To ARADMAC, NAS Corpus Christi, TX.

    May 1972

    Transferred to AVSCOM Flight Detachment, Saint Louis, MO.

    August 1972

    Transferred to 7th Squadron, 1st CAV., 1st Army, Fort Knox, KY.

    December 1972

    Transferred to C Troop, 7-1 CAV., 1st Army, Fort Knox, KY.

    May 1973

    Transferred to Supply Division, 1st Army, Fort Knox, KY.

    July 1973

    Transferred to 7th Squadron, 1st CAV., 5th Army, Fort Knox, KY.
